Hypnotherapy

The British Medical Association accepted the value of Hypnotherapy in April of 1956.

Hypnotherapy takes place when the Hypnotherapist talks to you and makes you deeply relaxed. Some people describe the feeling as heavy and relaxed but still aware of what is going on and in control.

If just one of these isn't in your life...

...Then your quality of life isn't as good as it could be.

Let me help you with this over the next 21 days...

Hypnotherapy deeply relaxes you so that your conscious mind switches off and your subconscious mind listens. This is important because the subconscious mind holds the key to our thought and behaviour patterns.

The subconscious mind is the largest part of our mind and drives what we do. It is shaped by experiences and events throughout our lives. These experiences are stored through sight, smell, sound, taste and feelings.

The subconscious will always work in what it believes are our best interests. For example, if as a child you were fed when you were unhappy, your subconscious may believe that when you need comfort, you should eat. Hypnotherapy accesses the subconscious and makes changes for the better. This is what makes Hypnotherapy such an effective treatment for weight loss, as it works on the emotional aspects of eating and no diet plan or calorie counting is required.

Hypnotherapy is also very effective for giving up smoking as it is able to identify the reasons for smoking and work with the subconscious to find other ways to meet the needs that smoking did.

Previous experiences or beliefs can hard wire people for anxiety and panic attacks. Hypnotherapy can help and eliminate these in just a few treatments.

Our subconscious minds are so sophisticated, but they can get confused and process and determine the messages that we adopt as true and correct beliefs. Our core messages can be negative in nature, such as “I’m not good enough” or “I am stupid” or any number of other messages interpreted by a variety of experiences. With the conscious mind suppressed during Hypnotherapy, the subconscious mind can be directly addressed in order to assist in creating positive modification to those negative core messages therefore increasing self-esteem and confidence.

The one thing that all Hypnotherapy treatments have in common is that they bring about a lovely feeling of relaxation. Once you have relaxed this deeply once, you will be able to access this again and just like muscles develop through exercise, you can develop your ability to relax and be calm in any situation therefore reducing stress.
